    Tuesday, October 10, 2017 (Napa, CA) – On the night of October 8, the Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) began receiving reports of fires spreading throughout the county, stoked by high winds, ample dry fuel loads, and low humidity. Growers have halted harvest activities at this time and are focusing efforts on safety and providing support to the greater Napa community.

    NAPA, CA (August 31, 2017) – On Saturday, August 26, the Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) celebrated its 10th annual Harvest STOMP with a sold-out crowd of 610 guests, who raised a record-breaking $1.98 million dollars net, a 2,131% increase over the first STOMP. This year’s event was hosted by Round Pond proprietors Ryan and Miles MacDonnell, at their historic red barn in the middle of cabernet sauvignon vineyards in Rutherford.

    Napa, CA (August 7, 2017) – It’s an exciting morning here in Napa Valley – Napa Valley Grapegrowers are reporting the first picks, which means the 2017 harvest is underway! Sparkling wine house, Domaine Chandon picked 8 acres of pinot noir from its Yountville estate vineyard starting at 4:30 am.

    “Everything coming in today looks great – color-wise, cluster size, and overall uniformity,” commented Patrick Riggs, viticulturist at Domaine Chandon and NVG member.
