The economic impacts of 2020 have touched every part of the grapegrowing industry and will dictate business decisions for the next several years. Join industry experts to discuss top-of-mind issues for growers farm and business planning in the “new normal.” This NVG member-only webinar will provide insight to all growers considering redevelopment and replanting, and/or vineyard management service structures, and more.

Meet the Speakers:

Garrett Buckland, Partner, Premiere Viticultural Services

Born and raised in Napa, Garrett grew up working with his father’s Vineyard Management Company, Buckland Vineyard Management. Garrett worked for Foundation Plant Services and the Department of Plant Pathology while attending UC Davis. After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Viticulture and Enology, Garrett went to work with Steve Matthiasson and started Premiere Viticulture, a vineyard consulting company based in Napa. Premiere Viticulture has over 40 high end vineyard and winery clients and works with over 1500 acres in the Napa Valley.

Justin Leigon, Viticulturist, Piña Vineyard Management

Justin Leigon is viticulturist at Piña Vineyard Management in the Napa Valley. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of high-end winegrape farming and is involved in vineyard development. He has been working professionally in the wine industry since 2004. After beginning his career in wine production, Leigon attended the University of California, Davis where he received his B.S. in viticulture and enology. Prior to joining Piña Vineyard Management, Leigon gained experience during harvest working at ultra-premium wineries such as Colgin Cellars and Caldwell Winery. In 2006 he spent time abroad in Australia learning about global wine styles.
