Overview:

Investing in the professional development of Napa Valley farmworkers through leadership and management training is fundamentally important in retaining Napa's highly skilled workforce. Held in conjunction with ROOTSTOCK, this 3-day comprehensive program will provide vineyard workers, both fieldworkers and managers/supervisors, with the opportunity to learn how to be a successful leader and team member. Industry experts will discuss viticultural best practices, communication skills, safety in the workplace, and much more.

All presentations are taught in Spanish

Attendees will be assigned a specific screening time for Friday, November 15. Screenings take approximately two hours to complete and students will be grouped by company.

Health Screenings to include:
  • Measuring height & weight
  • BMI
  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Blood sugar level (HbAlc)
  • Behavioral health screenings


This program is hosted by the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation and free for Napa County farmworkers.
