2019 Sustainable Vineyard Practices - Part II: Napa Valley Geology & Deep Dive into Soil Health

Blue Note - 1030 Main Street, Napa, CA 94559

8:30am - 12:00pm *New time

As Grapegrowers in the Napa Valley, one of our principle objectives is to ensure the continued health and fertility of the vineyards we are tasked to manage. There’s no better place to start than with the soil beneath one’s feet! Join us as we view the Napa Valley from three unique perspectives, starting with the geologic formation of the valley itself. Then, we will zoom into look at the microscopic level to unveil the living communities of microbes that call the minerals, roots, and organic matter beneath our feet their home. This will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enhance your knowledge of the active world thriving beneath your feet.
