NVG Annual Wages & Benefits Survey

The Napa Valley Grapegrowers annually conducts the Napa Valley Wages & Benefits survey, which gathers information on vineyard labor practices and compensation for each year. The purpose of the survey is to collect the information and re-distribute it to all participating grower and vineyard managers to be used as a tool to effectively compensate their vineyard workers.

The NVG engages a third party to conduct the survey, which results in an independent and objective product. Robert Yetman, a Certified Public Accountant and professor at the Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Davis compiles the information and provides participants with a thorough analysis of the data. Information obtained from the survey is kept strictly confidential and presented only in aggregate form with no single entity mentioned. The detailed aggregate results of the analysis are distributed only to survey participants.

The 2008 Survey results and complete final report have been mailed to all participants. Members: look for the 2009 Survey Questionnaire in your mailbox in January!
