Of Vineyards And Wildlife
Release Date: 04/01/2011
By Julie Nord, Nord Vineyards and Napa Valley Grapegrowers Board of Directors.
Last week, walking our vineyard along the new Bay Area Ridge Trail segment through American Canyon, my husband tapped my shoulder and whispered “Look over there.” Gliding by just above the vines was a large — I mean really large — white bird. Release Date: 03/01/2011
By Steve Moulds, Moulds Family Vineyards and NVG Board of Directors. - I had quite an experience last week. I witnessed 165 men and women from this Valley sit in a large room over 2 days, getting challenged to be all they could be. No, this was not some self-actualization scam by the Guru de jour. This workshop involved the vineyard workers we drive by daily but rarely get a chance to meet personally.

The vineyards are alive with cover crops growing, brilliant yellow mustard flowers and pruning crews.
