Below is a complete list of third-party certification programs for growers interested in learning more about sustainable, organic and biodynamic certification.

California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance
The California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) developed a third-party certification program related to the California Sustainable Winegrowing Program (SWP) to increase the sustainability of the California wine industry by promoting the adoption of sustainable practices and ensuring continual improvement.  The goals of the certification program, Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW-Certified), are to enhance transparency, encourage statewide participation and advance the entire California wine industry toward best practices in environmental stewardship, conservation of natural resources and socially equitable business practices. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in March 2000, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. LEED promotes sustainable building and development practices through a suite of rating systems that recognize projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance. California Certified Organic Farming (CCOF)
CCOF promotes and supports organic food and agriculture through a premier organic certification program, trade support, producer and consumer education and political advocacy. CCOF is involved in every facet of organics, with over 1,300 different organic crops and products, including livestock, processed products and services. Click here for more information.

Napa Green & Fish Friendly Farming
Napa Green is a voluntary program for Napa Valley landowners that focuses on enhancing the watershed and restoring habitat. More than 22,000 acres (about 11,000 are vineyards) are enrolled in the program and more than 9,200 acres are certified, with thousands more about to receive official certification.  Click here for more information.
