AWARDED 2008 GROWER OF THE YEAR

The Napa Valley Grapegrowers bestowed its top award: Grower of the Year, to longtime Napa Valley grower Lee Hudson at the organization’s 33rd Annual Dinner Friday night, May 16.

Hudson received a standing ovation from the 250 person audience for his outstanding track record of environmental stewardship, community involvement, and premium quality winegrowing. NVG President Randy Snowden congratulated Hudson on the award and noted that, “Lee completely embodies the spirit of the Napa Valley Grapegrower: he is an environmentally responsible grower of the highest quality winegrapes, who cares about the Napa community and his employees. He is truly an inspiration for us all”.

Hudson Vineyards currently produces single vineyard Chardonnay and Syrah wines from his vineyards in Carneros. Hudson served as President of the Napa Valley Grapegrowers from 1992 – 1994.
